3 Hour Report
Scott McKay took the green flag in the #28 Team Racing 4A Reason Cobra, and quickly jumped to 11th in class and 32nd overall. Scott quickly pulled the lap times down to 2:05's, and set to clicking off laps. The Cobra team pulled off an amazingly quick fuel stop at 1:15 minutes into the race, and all was well until 12:30 PM when Scott called in and reported a problem with the accelerator, and that he was pulling off at Turn 6. The car finally made it to the pit at 12:53, with a broken throttle cable. Team Cobra crewmembers Andy Cole, Ryan Althoff, Brendan Dougherty, and Andy Salvaggio quickly changed the cable while Scott McKay changed driving duties with co-driver Mike Plum. Mike is currently on track and turning great target speed laps. Currently running 16th in class and 61st overall.
Jim Schenck took the green for the #85 Team Racing 4 A Reason 2 Cobra, and drove clean and fast (2:05's) for the first three hours of the race. No issues with the car, and the team is currently running 9th in class and 30th overall.
