Ready to Rock!

The Racing 4A Reason Team made the long haul from Southern California, and arrived at Thunderhill mid-afternoon on Wednesday. We scored great pit spots this year (#8 & #9), which are located virtually across from the flagstand on the front straight-a-way. We spent the day setting up our hot and cold pit space, as well as tying up small details on the cars.

Team Leads Roman Vaisman and Ryan Althoff installed the newly designed front and rear camera system in the #28 Cobra, and the video looks great. Drivers Jim Schenck, John George, and Brian Sanders arrived at the track early today, as did crewmembers Andy Cole, Richard Cobb, and Molly McCarthy.

GTM-R: Prototype Development Group
Richard and Yvonne Migliori, and their dedicated and hard-working team, arrived today with the race-ready, awesome looking GTM-R today. They are pitted right next to our Cobras in pitstall #10, and they are already a source of interest and downright curiosity among the racers here. The car is downwright awesome looking, and turn heads everywhere it goes. We spent the evening catching up and the latest R & D on the car, and enjoying their team's company as well prepare for the longest endurance race in North America. Their team is certainly ready for the task!

Friday Agenda: The #85 Cobra will take to the track for test and tune, and both cars will head out for the qualifying session at 5:15 PM. Team Hospitality will begin at noon, and all drivers and crewmembers will attend the mandatory driver's meeting held at Race central at 6:30 PM. A Racing 4A Reason team meeting will be held at 7:30 PM in pitstall #9.

What a sight to see 70 race teams, and all of the support vehicles! We'll post pictures as the day moves along.

Go Team Cobra 25 Hours!
